VALORANT Champions 2025 is already underway as the first games were played on September 12. From then until September 22, teams in the competition will fight for one of the eight spots in the VALORANT Champions 2025 Playoffs.
Considered VALORANT's world championship, Champions is, by far, the most important competition in the scene. Every year, the best VALORANT teams from all around the globe have a shot at becoming world champions — an honor only four teams have so far. In Paris, France, a fifth team will join the list, though.
However, that will happen next month, as the group stage has to finish first before we head to the playoffs and the eventual grand final. But, when is the big game taking place? Well, you will find the answer in this article.
When is the VALORANT Champions 2025 Grand Final?
The VALORANT Champions 2025 Grand Final will be played on October 5, 2025, at 1 PM CEST and 4 AM PT.
The two best teams in the competition will qualify for the Grand Final. The road will be tough, as teams will have to survive a double-elimination bracket to reach the Grand Final of VALORANT Champions 2025.
The winner of the Upper Bracket Final will earn a two-map advantage ahead of the VALORANT Champions 2025 Grand Final. This means that the first two maps of the series will be picked by the team that comes from the Upper Bracket. This is a reward for not having lost a single playoff match before reaching the tournament's Grand Final.
As previously mentioned, the winner of VALORANT Champions 2025 will be the fifth VALORANT world champion. But, who lifted the trophy in the four previous editions?
What teams have won the VALORANT Champions so far?
So far only Acend, LOUD, Evil Geniuses, and EDward Gaming have won VALORANT's Champions.
The first VALORANT world champion was Acend in December 2021 after the Europeans took down the Russian roster of Gambit Esports. One year later, in September 2022, LOUD became the first and so far only Brazilian roster to win VALORANT's Champions after taking down OpTic Gaming.
In August 2023, Evil Geniuses became the first roster from the United States to win VALORANT's world championship. Finally, EDward Gaming made history in August 2024 after becoming the first Chinese squad to become VALORANT world champions.
