All the competitive enthusiasts probably wonder when is Ranked Play coming to Black Ops 6. This is a special section in the multiplayer side of the game that offers a ranked ladder to climb, where users play matches with the official CDL (Call of Duty League) rules.

A few details about this feature were revealed at COD Next 2024 and here is everything we know for the moment.

When is Ranked Play coming to Black Ops 6?

Treyarch revealed that Ranked Play is set to come out at the start of Season 1 of Black Ops 6. Given that the game is coming out on October 25, we expect the first season to start sometime in November.

This is the earliest the competitive ladder has launched in any Call of Duty, with recent titles receiving this mode around the second season or a little bit before it.

Once we have a specific release date, we will update this section to add all the missing information.

What can we expect from Ranked Play?

Since Treyarch has been the main developer behind Ranked in every Call of Duty since Black Ops Cold War, we expect the mode to have similar features in the new game.

Ranks will probably remain the same, going from Bronze to Iridescent and Top 250. The SR format and ranking system should also be fairly similar.

We still don't know which game modes are set to be part of the Call of Duty rotation this year, but Hardpoint and Search and Destroy seem like the two safest bets.
