Season 6 brought a new animated camo to MW3 and Warzone called Cloud Watching, and you might wonder how to unlock it. This is a secret camo, meaning the game doesn't show the unlock method.
However, players have discovered what you must do to get it and we have prepared a guide with all the information.
How to unlock the Cloud Watching camo
To unlock the Cloud Watching animated camo in MW3 and Warzone, players must complete eight challenges in the new Purgatory mode introduced at the start of the season.
Here is the full of challenges:
- Challenge 1 - Reach Torment Level 2
- Challenge 2 - Spend 5 Minutes Outside the Safe Zone Without Killing Another Operator
- Challenge 3 - Get 50 Mercenary Kills Using the Terriball, or While in a Vehicle
- Challenge 4 - Commend 5 Operators While in the Safe Zone
- Challenge 5 - Get 5 Operator Kills While in a Vehicle
- Challenge 6 - Get 3 Operator Kills Using the Terriball
- Challenge 7 - Teleport 15 Times Using Portals
- Challenge 8 - Pilot the Flying Shipment
Once you complete them, a notification will appear in-game indicating that the player has finished the Purgatory Island Mastery set of challenges. This will be your sign that the camo is waiting for you at the gunsmith to use with any weapon.
How to increase your Torment level
The only way to increase your Torment level is by eliminating enemies. The higher your Torment level is, the more XP you'll gain whenever you kill an enemy operator.
The downside is that the minimap presence increases with the Torment level, making players with high Torment levels easier to spot by enemies.
How to commend a player
You only need to get close to an enemy operator and a prompt with the button to commend a player will appear, which is usually the interact key in your keyboard or controller.
Commending is only available inside safe zones, which are the giant purple bubbles distributed in some parts of the map. Once inside, the game will change your camera to a third-person view.
The season not only brings new Halloween-themed game modes but also new operators like Daryl Dixon from The Walking Dead, Michael Myers from the Halloween franchise, and Art the Clown from the Terrifier movies.
