VCT Team Capsules: Release date, prices, skins, and more

With the 2024 season of the VCT underway, Riot is releasing cosmetic bundles for each of the teams competing throughout the different regions. These are called VCT Team Capsules and 50% of their profits will go directly into their respective team, allowing players to support their favorite team in a different way.

After the release of patch 8.03, Riot released all the information about these capsules and we have prepared a guide with everything you need to know in case you are planning to buy the bundle of your favorite team.

VCT Team Capsules Release date

The VCT Team Capsules are going live on Wednesday, February 21 after the release of patch 8.03 in pretty much every country except for China. Here is the release time for each region:

• Americas: Feb 21, 6-10am PST NA/BR/LATAM
• Pacific: Feb 21, 2-6pm PST KR/JP/SEA/OCE/India
• EMEA: Feb 21, 8pm-12am PST EU/CIS/MENA

Users based in China will have to wait until the release of patch 8.04 to be able to purchase the capsules. This initial release doesn't include bundles for the teams in VCT CN, as they were selected towards the end of 2023.

Riot explained that they are planning to release the remaining capsules in May, before Masters Shanghai takes place.

You will be able to buy the team's capsules at any time through the new esports tab of the store. These bundles will be removed shortly after Champions concludes, so you'll have the whole year to get the ones you prefer.

Each of the team capsules or bundles will be priced at 2,344 VP and contain the following cosmetics:

• Team-themed Classic skin:
  • AR Inspect featuring team logos and colors
  • Kill Banner
  • Firing Audio SFX
  • VCT Muzzle Flash FX based on team colors
• Player Card designed by VCT teams
• Gun Buddy featuring the team’s logo
• Spray featuring the team’s logo
