While Valorant is one of the most popular FPSs in the world nowadays, Riot Games' title is also known for its visuals.
Since its launch in Jun. 2020, the community has seen the arrival of many unique weapon skins that left most of the fanbase impressed. Some of the most well-known cosmetic bundles released to Valorant are the Kuronami, the Primordium, the Gaia's Vengance, and the Oni, to just mention a few.
However, with the celebration of the VCT Masters Madrid, a certain type of bundle has become even more popular recently: the VCT Team Capsules.
The VCT Team Capsules include cosmetics themed around the best esports organizations in Valorant. Each roster bundle includes a Classic weapon skin, a gun buddy, a spray, and an agent background.
What's the most purchased VCT Team Capsule?
As Riot Gaming's team recently revealed during the celebration of the VCT Masters Madrid, Paper Rex's VCT Team Capsule is the highest earning bundle of its kind. It's believed that Sentinels, the VCT Masters Madrid champions, are in second place in terms of VCT Team Capsule sells.
VCT Team Capsule Tier List
In this article we have included all of the VCT Team Capsules available in Valorant's in-game store and we have divided them from the best looking ones to those we don't think are as successful. Here are our thoughts about them!
S Tier
Paper Rex
With a unique mix of colors, the VCT Team Capsule for Paper Rex is arguably the best one out there. Also, their player card includes a dinosaur... isn't that cool?
Additionally, the team is performing well, which means more fans will be open to purchasing the skin.
Sentinels
Your recent VCT Masters Madrid champions have got a wide range of cosmetics that suit the team's identity.
LOUD
While someone may think green is a popular color in esports, it's not. This means that LOUD's bundle is quite unique in the game. Moreover, the team has one of the biggest fanbases in the scene.
A Tier
T1
Red and white is playing safe. This cosmetic can't miss. At the same time, with T1 being one of the biggest esports brands in South Korea, the success of this bundle is almost granted.
Gentle Mates
Coming from Ascension, the French brand had to create something special to stand out... and they succeeded at that. Gentle Mates' skin mixes black, purple, and green perfectly to create a unique concept. Good job!
KOI
Something similar can be said about KOI. Despite merging with Mad Lions and Movistar Riders recently, the organization decided to go with the purple color. Good decision.
G2 Esports
G2 Esports is G2 Esports. The European powerhouse has made an excellent job, with the samurai being the team's main identity in the bundle's player card.
Evil Geniuses
The current world champions created a very unique skin by mixing multiple shades of blue. For those who don't know, blue means royalty!
DRX
The South Korean organization has gone safe, but sometimes going safe is the best decision someone can make.
Cloud9
Although Cloud9's colors chosen for the bundle are slightly common, the team had to go with those. You can't expect them to go with red and black, for example. Still, very good job as fans will be able to represent the team's identity.
B Tier
We have included here those skins that follow basic color patterns, including gold and black, orange and black, or red and black. Global Esports is the only exception.
Gen.G Esports
Fnatic
Bleed Esports
Global Esports
Team Liquid
MIBR
Karmine Corp
Leviatán
GIANTX
FUT Esports
C Tier
The C Tier could be an extension of the B Tier. Here you will find those skins that combine dark colors, and whose results haven't been very good recently in the esports circuit (except for Team Heretics, who qualified for the VCT Masters Madrid).
KRÜ Esports
ZETA DIVISION
Team Heretics
DetonatioN FocusMe
100 Thieves
D Tier
Our D Tier for VCT Team Capsules includes cosmetics that we believe are boring to those fans with no relationship with the teams.
Team Vitality
Natus Vincere
Team Secret
Talon Esports
BBL Esports
Rex Regum Qeon
E Tier
Finally, the E Tier includes those teams with black and white cosmetics for the Classic. No harsh feelings, but the skins look dull and boring. However, their player cards are decent and the fans won't let the organizations down.
