Vyse has officially been revealed as the next playable agent in Valorant. Riot has been teasing the character since before the start of the current episode, and now the reveal happened during Champions Seoul.
Before the character arrives with the launch of Episode 9 Act 2, here is everything you need to know.
Vyse's release date
Vyse or Agent 26 is scheduled to arrive in Valorant on Wednesday, August 28/Thursday, August 29, depending on the region you play on.
The character will be released in a staggered rollout that starts on Wednesday, August 28 at 1:00 pm PT (9:00 pm BST).
The agent will be added to the game files a day early with the release of update 9.04, which you can read the patch notes here.

Vyse's info and abilities
Vyse is the sixth Sentinel agent of the game, joining Killjoy, Cypher, Sage, Chamber, and Deadlock in the role. The agent's kit seems to be more focused on defending, with abilities designed to slow down, stun, or disarm players.

- Arc Rose: Deploy an invisible Arc Rose. Reuse to blind all players who look at it. Can be redeployed.
- Shear: Set a hidden trap that spawns a brief indestructible wall when triggered by enemies.
- Razorvine: Launch a razorvine nest that becomes invisible. When activated, slows and damages enemies.
- Steel Garden: Unleash a torrent of metal thorns that jams nearby enemies' primary weapons after windup.
