Valorant fans are gearing up for the release of Episode 8 Act 2 - set to release next week, on March 4 - and while it looks like the game's newest agent will miss that release window, players aren't going to be short of new content, as a brand new skinline has got its reveal in time for launch.

Coming hot on the heels of a leak suggesting that a "dinosaur-themed" skin was on the way, an official trailer has now been released, with the Primordium skin bundle set to bring "ancient beings of fire" to the tactical shooter.

If you want to see what this bundle will offer, we have gathered everything we know about it as we await its arrival at the in-game store.

Release date

While no official release date has been given for the Primordium skinline, with the release of the trailer (always a sure-fire sign it will be available immeninently), the bundle will likely be available to purchase with the release of Episode 8 Act 2, due to arrive on Wednesday, March 5. The day after launch and when all regions have access to the update.

Skins and Price

Everyone has their own opinions when it comes to what makes a good skin, but you can bet the Primordium bundle is going to be a top-seller - despite its hefty price tag.

There are a few reasons for this. First, it contains the bundle contains skins for both the Phantom and Vandal, and it also features one of the coolest kill animations we have yet to see, with those taken out by a headshot grabbed by a flaming claw before sending the surrounding map into an entirely new realm.

The guns also ooze flames as they are fired. Color variants include green, blue, gold.

Don't expect it to be cheap, though; reports state that the bundle's price is 8,700 VP, with individual weapons and the melee price at 2,175 and 4,350 VP, respectively.

  • Melee
  • Phantom
  • Vandal
  • Spectre
  • Shorty

The bundle also includes other cosmetics like a Gun Buddy (475VP), a Player Card (375VP), and a spray (325VP), which can also be purchased separately.
