Team Secret announced the signing of the Six Invitational 2023 champion Jake "Virtue" Grannan. The 29-year-old is joining Team Secret to cover the spot left by Luiz "Miracle" Abrantes, who returned to Brazil after signing for Keyd Stars. This is the organization's third roster change this year after the arrivals of Marc "Jume" Steinmann and Adrian "Adrian" Tryka at the start of the season.

The Australian joined G2 Esports in March 2020 from Fnatic. Four years later and after puting to an end his professional career with the European powerhouse, Virtue's next chapter in the old continent will be in Team Secret.

With G2 Esports, Virtue competed in multiple Majors and Six Invitational, with the Australian being crowned as world champion in 2023. Additionally, he reached the Six Invitational 2024 and the BLAST R6 Major Copenhagen Top 4.

Alongside the Australian, Team Secret's roster will try to qualify for the Esports World Cup. First, the squad will have to finish among the best eight teams in the open qualifier. Later, they will have to be one of the best three sides in the regional closed qualifier.

Following the conclusion of the Esports World Cup, Team Secret's next goal will be qualifying for the Six Invitational 2024. After the team's Manchester appearance, the organization currently sits on seventh place in the Global Standings with 260 SI Points.
