Team Liquid have been eliminated from the Six Invitational 2023 after losing to Team BDS. They are the second Brazilian team to become eliminated from the Six Invitational following FaZe Clan's loss against G2 Esports earlier today.
Team Liquid upset Team BDS in the first map of the series as they took down the Frenchmen by a score of 7-4 on Chalet. However, the European roster would eventually win the series thanks to two 7-4 wins on Clubhouse and Theme Park.
The Brazilians have looked very sloppy during the whole tournament, as their only victory came against Dire Wolves. Before falling to Team BDS, Team Liquid had lost to Wolves Esports, MNM Gaming, and Soniqs on the group stage.
This is the team's worst result in the Six Invitational since 2020, where they finished in 9th - 12th place. In 2021, the Brazilians reached the grand-final, and in 2022, Liquid was among the top six.
