The Frenchmen began the tournament in shocking fashion after losing to CYCLOPS athlete gaming, but recovered to finish in second place in their group.
A choice of w7m esports in the first round of the upper bracket proved costly, as it dropped them down to the lower bracket where they had to beat Team Liquid and then MNM Gaming by 2-1 margins. Now, with their loss to Astralis, they, too, will become spectators for the rest of the world championship at Place Bell.
