Following Heroic's upset win over Rogue and MNM Gaming's maximum overtime victory against Team BDS, all 16 teams that will compete at the Six Jönköping Major have been confirmed.
Every group has a team from each region. On top of that, teams with the same seeds can't be slotted into the same group in an attempt to balance the groups as much as possible (e.g. the number one seed from one region cannot be in a group with another number one seed).
With the previous set of rules being considered, this is the result of the draw performed after the conclusion of the final EUL play day:
- Group A: CYCLOPS athlete gaming, Soniqs, MNM Gaming, Black Dragons
- Group B: TSM FTX, Team Liquid, SANDBOX Gaming, Heroic
- Group C: w7m esports, Team BDS, Spacestation Gaming, FURY
- Group D: Wolves Esports, Dire Wolves, FaZe Clan, Mirage
The format used at the Jönköping Major will be the same one used at the Charlotte and Berlin Majors, as teams will be facing off in a double-round-robin, best-of-one group stage.
Jönköping will also see eight more teams qualify for the Six Invitational 2023, who will join the already-qualified w7m esports, DarkZero Esports, Wolves Esports, Astralis, Rogue, XSET, Oxygen Esports, G2 Esports, and Team BDS.
