Escape From Tarkov streamer Pestily recently shared a video unveiling a surprising discovery he stumbled upon in the game's map. Brace yourselves; this one is not for the faint of heart.
Behind the mirror in the women's bathroom is an office which has a peephole aimed directly at the female mannequin on the other side. Once Pestily moved away from the eyeholes, the rest of the scene unfolded.
On the other side of the mirror, the attention to detail was incredible, everything you would expect to find in an aspiring peeping Tom's lair, from questionable drippage down the wall to a roll of toilet paper sitting within arms reach.
Escape From Tarkov is a tactical multiplayer FPS currently in closed beta set in the fictional Norvinsk region of Northwest Russia. The game's creator explained on Twitter four years ago that there would be no playable female characters in Tarkov “because of game lore.”
Pestily, a Twitch streamer, witnessed a meteoric rise in popularity in 2019 due to his engaging Escape from Tarkov content. In just three days, his follower count skyrocketed from 400 to an astounding 30,000 subscribers.
Before becoming a content creator, Pestily served in the Australian military and was stationed in Indonesia.
You can peep Escape from Tarkov for yourself by visiting the game's official website and pre-ordering. Despite being in closed beta for many years, the FPS has received many substantial updates.
At the time of writing, no confirmed release date for the full launch of Escape from Tarkov has been announced.
