The former M80 and Geekay Esports player Adam "nudl" Hryceniak will play in the APAC Cup 2024 as he will replace Wu "Reeps96" Weichen. According to Patrick "MentalistC" Fan's post on his personal X account, the Chinese player won't be able to travel to Japan as he couldn't "get his visa in time."
This will be the Polish's first performance since parting ways with M80. The player's exit from the North America League 2024 roster was confirmed in July 2024. On November 18, he confirmed he had received a BLAST suspension that lasted for "the whole of Stage 2."
With nudl temporarily joining BLED to play in the APAC Cup 2024, the Polish has been reunited with his former Geekay Esports teammate Jake "Leadr" Fortunato. The British player joined the MENA League side as a substitute to compete at the BLAST R6 Major Atlanta, where they finished among the best eight sides in the competition.
The APAC Cup 2024 will be the first BLED performance since parting ways with Bleed Esports following Ubisoft's decision to revoke the team's license. The tournament will take place in Tokyo, Japan, and it will be played on December 1.
With only four teams in the bracket, BLED's first rival will be Gaimin Gladiators. The winner will play against the victorious side of the other semifinal clash between FearX and CAG Osaka.
