Ninjas in Pyjamas’ pino tests positive for COVID-19, will play the remainder of the stage isolated from the team

Gabriel “pino” Fernandes has tested positive for COVID-19 and will play the remainder of the Brasileirão 2022 Stage 1 isolated from the team, according to an announcement from the Ninjas in Pyjamas Brazil official Twitter account. 

The player added some more information on his current condition, as pino revealed on Twitter that his symptoms so far have been mild. 

This is just more bad news for Ninjas in Pyjamas in what has been a first stage full of bad results and obstacles. The team currently sits at the bottom of the standings with just one point, which the squad obtained after a maximum overtime loss to INTZ. 

Ninjas in Pyjamas will face FaZe Clan today in a replay of November’s Sweden Major Grand Final. On Sunday, the team is expected to face current Brasileirão leaders w7m esports.
