With several submachine guns to choose from, mastering the best Static-HV loadout in MW3 and Warzone is a surefire way of excelling in close-quarters combat.

The Static-HV arrived to multiplayer and Call of Duty's battle royale as part of the Season 5 update and has already found its way into the loadouts of players dropping into the action. Its compact size may seem unassuming, but its lethal fire rate and impressive mobility make it a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield.

Here, find everything there is to know about the best Static-HV loadouts to use in MW3 and Warzone matches.

Best MW3 Static-HV loadout

After testing all kinds of combinations geared towards a variety of playstyles, this build is excellent for close and mid-range battles:

  • Muzzle: ZEHMN35 Compensated Flash Hider
  • Barrel: Garrote-8 Long Barrel
  • Stock: FSS Guardian Stock
  • Underbarrel: Bruen Heavy Support Grip
  • Rear Grip: SK24 Grip

The combination of ZEHMN35 Compensated Flash Hider, FSS Guardian Stock, Bruen Heavy Support Grip, and SK24 Grip ensures the fast rate of fire doesn't impact recoil at longer distances which improves the Static-HV's versatility massively.

For a boost in damage, the Garrote-8 Long Barrel increases bullet velocity and damage range preventing any unwanted drop-off from dishing out hitmarkers instead of confirmed kills.

Once the best attachments are ready for action, focusing on a set of perks and equipment that improves performance even more is the next step. Here are our recommendations for Season 5.

Perks

  • Vest: Infantry
  • Gloves: Commando
  • Boots: Covert Sneakers
  • Gear: Ghost T/V Camo

The Infantry vest extends the length of Tac Sprint along with reducing its refresh rate while Commando Gloves allows players to reload while sprinting which is hugely advantageous on maps where the action never stops.

Next are Covert Sneakers which silence your footstep audio. With an additional element of stealth, it's easy to flank behind the opposition and eliminate multiple targets before they have time to react. For further stealthiness, Ghost T/V Camo conceals your location from airborne UAVs while moving.

Equipment

  • Lethal: Semtex
  • Tactical: Stun Grenade
  • Field Upgrade: Trophy System

Semtex is a great choice for sticking to enemies and clearing out objectives as quickly as possible. Those who manage to survive the impact of the Semtex should follow up with a Stun Grenade to slow their movement if they attempt to escape the sights of the Static-HV.

As always, the Trophy System is a great way of protecting teammates thanks to its ability to block a couple of enemy grenades which are bound to head in your direction during objective-focused game modes.

Best Warzone Static-HV loadout

Similar to most loadouts, the best Warzone Static-HV loadout is different to its MW3 counterpart. After testing a number of attachments to gain the upper hand, we've settled on this build that's perfect for close-range action:

  • Muzzle: ZEHMN35 Compensated Flash Hider
  • Barrel: Garrote-8 Long Barrel
  • Laser: Kimura RYL33 Laser Light
  • Stock: SPRY 34 Light Stock
  • Underbarrel: Bruen Heavy Support Grip

The pairing of the ZEHMN35 Compensated Flash Hider and the Bruen Heavy Support Grip drastically reduces recoil which is incredibly useful when attempting to use the Static-HV at longer distances.

Next, the Garrote-8 Long Barrel prevents any damage drop-off thanks to increases in damage range and bullet velocity. Mobility is where the Static-HV shines and why the SPRY 34 Light Stock and Kimura RYL33 Laser Light are must-haves. The faster ADS speed combined with faster movement speeds make all the difference when reacting quickly to players who have just appeared in the crosshairs.

When the best attachments for Warzone are ready, picking a perk package alongside two pieces of equipment guarantees players make a massive impact in big-map battle royale and Resurgence matches. Here's what we recommend using in Season 5.

Perks

  • Perk 1: Double Time
  • Perk 2: Mountaineer
  • Perk 3: Tempered
  • Perk 4: High Alert

Double Time maximizes the mobility of the Static-HV thanks to additional Tac Sprint while Mountaineer allows players to jump from higher heights thanks to the nerf in fall damage.

Tempered speeds up the plating process with players only needing two pieces of armor to stay fully protected. Lastly, High Alert increases awareness massively with an orange vision pulse alerting players to when an enemy has clocked their location.

Equipment

  • Lethal: Semtex
  • Tactical: Smoke Grenade

Semtex is excellent for cracking plates as fast as possible while the Smoke Grenade has even more uses. Throw it for some temporary cover or to distract the opposition while moving to a safe location on the map.

Is the Static-HV meta?

In the early stages of Season 5, the Static-HV has skyrocketed towards the top of the meta but this could be due to it being a new addition to multiplayer and the battle royale. With other SMGs only receiving movement nerfs, there are others that could contend with this weapon as soon as the hype starts to wear off.
