On the hunt for intel surrounding the MW3 Slam Deathmatch mode? We've got everything there is to know.

Thanks to a collaboration with the WWE, Season 5 introduces a wealth of wrestling-themed content ranging from a SummerSlam event to the arrival of Rhea Ripley as a playable Operator within the battle pass. As with all new Call of Duty seasons, brand-new game modes are on the way to add some fresh air into the multiplayer rotation.

With that said, find everything about MW3 Slam Deathmatch and how it works in this handy guide.

What is MW3 Slam Deathmatch?

Instead of weaponry securing the kills during a Slam Deathmatch, players need to perform a Finishing Move in order to add eliminations next to their name and to earn points for the team. The Finishing Moves are inspired by the WWE meaning players can perform all kinds of high-flying finishers to secure the W.

MW3 Slam Deathmatch mode rules

Slam Deathmatch matches will require players to score 100 points to win, which is exactly the same as a standard Team Deathmatch. The mode will also feature.

The Finishing Moves players need to perform to score can be interrupted by enemies which can be hugely frustrating if the slams are just about to hit the ground.

When is MW3 Slam Deathmatch launching?

Players can start dropping into Slam Deathmatch when the WWE SummerSlam event is active. The in-game event begins on July 31st and ends on August 7th meaning there's only seven days to experience the game mode before it disappears.

It's unclear if Slam Deathmatch will return as part of a weekly playlist update so for those wanting something different from standard TDM and the other modes on offer, it's worth playing while it's available.

The SummerSlam event is one of several in-game events taking place throughout Season 5. The Conquest and Echo Endo Live! events both take place throughout August so be sure to earn plenty of themed content.
