Now that the Black Ops 6 beta is over, The Haunting is coming back to Call of Duty, and this time, Michael Myers is front and center.
The annual Halloween-themed event debuted in Modern Warfare (2019) and has come back every year since then. For this year, the event is set to begin on September 18, which is the same start date for Season 6 in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone.
A cinematic trailer was released to promote the event where we can see that Michael Myers is making a return to the franchise, this time as what looks to be a new operator for both current games.
The trailer also shows other spooky-looking operators and some new skins for already-established characters like Farah or Ghost. In case you haven't seen it, here is the trailer:
The full trailer takes place in Rebirth Island so there's a possibility that the Zombies game mode that has appeared in previous years will take place on this map.
The information about the event's content is scarce at the moment since we are still waiting for the official blog post, but this should be published sometime in the next few days.
