M80 have parted ways with the former Natus Vincere, G2 Esports, and Soniqs player Ben “CTZN” McMillan. The British player has joined Into The Breach’s new roster, which will try to qualify for the Six Invitational 2025 through Europe and MENA’s qualifier.
The PL Season 10 champion joined M80 from Soniqs in March 2024. After a second-place finish in the North America League 2024 Stage 1, M80 reached the BLAST R6 Major Manchester quarterfinals, where they got knocked out by DarkZero Esports. Despite not finishing among the best four sides in the tournament, this was M80’s best result at a BLAST R6 Major after being knocked out before Phase 3 in Copenhagen and Atlanta.
Surprisingly, M80 fell apart in the upcoming months as the team not only missed out on the Esports World Cup 2024 but also on the BLAST R6 Major Montreal. Although the team secured a spot to compete at the Six Invitational 2025, M80 is making a deep change to its roster as Gabriel “cameram4n Hespanhol and Ben “CTZN” McMillan’s departures have already been confirmed.
Since CTZN’s Six Invitational debut for Natus Vincere in 2020, the British has only missed out on the Six Invitational 2022. Now, his final chance to qualify for the Six Invitational 2025 will be later this month, as he will play for Into The Breach in Europe and MENA’s qualifier.
