Leviatán have qualified for the Valorant Champions Seoul playoffs after defeating Team Vitality. The Americans moved to the next stage of the competition after wins on Icebox (14-12) and Sunset (13-4).
The first map of the series saw both teams facing off on Icebox. Although Team Vitality was the first to reach map point (12-10) the Americans managed to win the first map, Leviatán's pick, after forcing the overtime and winning the two extra rounds.
Meanwhile, Sunset wasn't close at all as Leviatán won ten of the first eleven rounds. As both teams swapped sides with the 10-2 on the scoreboard, the blue roster only needed three rounds to defeat the Bees.
Despite Team Vitality's positive start to the second half with two round wins, Leviatán cut short the Europeans' hopes to reach playoffs with three back-to-back round victories.
With this result, Team Vitality has become the second EMEA roster to be knocked out of the Valorant Champions Seoul as they follow the footsteps of FUT Esports. Therefore, only Fnatic and Team Heretics will represent the EMEA region in Seoul's playoffs.
Meanwhile, the VCT Americas is sending a third team to the playoffs as Leviatán has joined Sentinels and G2 Esports.
