Black Ops 7 is the next title in the Call of Duty franchise, and although we are still waiting for the game's official reveal, a new leak has revealed a few changes the title will implement to the core gameplay.
Prominent leaker TheGhostOfHope revealed on X (formerly Twitter) that the current internal build of Black Ops 7 doesn't feature tactical sprint. The leaker also stated that this is the final decision, meaning the change is intended to be in the game's final build.
For those unaware, tactical sprint is a gameplay feature that makes players run faster while raising their gun in a vertical position. This was first introduced with the release of the Modern Warfare reboot in 2019 and became a major element in the franchise's gameplay, appearing in every game ever since except for Black Ops Cold War.

The leaker also posted some information about the maps, revealing that all the standard 6v6 maps won't feature any interactive doors. Keep in mind that he's talking about the doors players can open or close by interacting with or bashing through them, not the automated doors we have had in maps for years. The new doors that we see in every building were also first introduced with Modern Warfare (2019).
The maps also look to be more colorful than the ones in Black Ops 6, and, aligning with what previous rumors stated, the game will have three remastered Black Ops 2 maps available at launch.
Black Ops 7 is set to be a direct sequel to Black Ops 2, in terms of story and content, featuring remastered content from Treyarch's 2012 title. While we wait for more news, you can check out all the rumors we have received so far in this article.
