As we head to the final day of the group stage at the Six Invitational 2023, these are the key stats to understand what happened in the server throughout Day 4.
Shaiiko dominates individual leaderbords
Stéphane "Shaiiko" Lebleu keeps leading the individual stats with a SiegeGG Rating of 1.33. He has the most kills in the competition, followed by Heroic's new signing Adam "nudl" Hryceniak, who reached 100 kills just yesterday.
MNM Gaming's dominance in player stats is also untouched. Three of their five players are among the top 10 in the competition, with Josh "Yuzus" Pritchard leading the team with a Rating of 1.25.
Meanwhile, Aleksi "UUNO" Työppönen's superb support performance against FaZe Clan elevated the Finn to the top of the plant standings, with 16 plants in 10 maps.
While Shaiiko leads in three of the five leaderboards, it's impossible to not notice M80's presence. Lucas "DiasLucas" Dias has the best KOST, the third-best Rating, and the fourth-best K-D, and also managed four clutches -- the second highest, just behind Loïc "BriD" Chongthep.
Arthur "GMZ" Oliveira, who has the third-best entry balance, and Leonardo "Kyno" Figueiredo who has the fifth highest number of clutches and the fourth highest number of plants, also represent M80 at the top of the individual leaderboards.
Brazilian rosters top three of the four groups
Heading into the final day of the group stage, three Brazilian rosters are leading the way in three of the four Six Invitational 2023 groups. Group B is the only exception, as MNM Gaming have already locked first seed -- with Team Liquid struggling in fourth place.
W7m esports are currently leading the standings of Group A with 11 points. Later today, the bulls will face KOI as the Europeans still have chances of stealing first place from the Brazilians.
In Group C, LOS oNe are in first place after winning all of their matches by 2-1 scorelines. Today the Brazilians will face Oxygen Esports, who are in second place with eight points.
Finally, the Brazilian-majority roster of M80 is leading the Group D standings with 10 points, the same amount as Heroic. M80's last opponent in the group stage will be DarkZero Esports, as they will face the North American League roster at 7PM (GMT-5).
Three Group C players have been the best
Stage 3 debutant Júlio "L0BIN" Gabriel was named Day 4's MVP, with the Brazilian registering a 1.26 after facing Astralis on Theme Park, Border, and Clubhouse.
L0BIN was the best player on LOS oNe in each of the maps played, as he got Ratings of 1.32, 1.08, and 1.37, respectively. He was very important for his team in the entry department, as he ended up having an entry balance of 8-1 (+7) -- with six of those eight kills coming on defense.
Gabriel "Maia" Maia struggled for most of the game, as he could not reach his best form. He ended the series with a Rating of 0.87, unable to replicate his performance against Team BDS.
With L0BIN the best player on Day 4, Group C has now had three players be the best across the four days so far -- Ethan "Nuers" James on Day 1 and Stéphane "Shaiiko" Lebleu on Day 2 preceded the Brazilian. Lucas "DiasLucas" Dias, who got it on Day 3, is the only exception.
Europe the best region after Day 4
Aside from Team Secret, who lost their series against M80 by a 0-2 score, the rest of European teams won their games on Day 4.
Group A was the best for the region, as KOI and G2 Esports defeated Spacestation Gaming and Elevate by 2-0 scores. MNM Gaming and Heroic's perfect victories against Soniqs and FaZe Clan also helped the Europeans to momentarily be the top performing region at the Six Invitational 2023.
Heading into Day 5, we will have two European vs North America matchups that will give shape to the battle of the regions just before the playoffs start on Monday.
