When setting everything up in CS2, some might try to use the left-hand command. This was a feature available in CSGO that makes the character on screen hold the gun with their left hand instead of the traditional right hand like in every shooter game.
Although most people are used to playing with their gun on the right side of the screen, some are still more comfortable with the left-sided configuration.
Is there a left-hand command in CS2?
Unfortunately, CS2 doesn't have a command to make the character hold the gun with their other hand. In the previous game, users had to open the command console and enter the prompt "cl_righthand 0" to activate this feature, but the sequel doesn't recognize this command.
Although Valve hasn't mentioned anything about adding this feature, there is a possibility that this could be implemented in the future. We say that simply because the game is constantly evolving and there are some things from the first game that were not available in the beta, like the Net Graph, but it was later implemented.
How to enable the console?
The console is a great tool in CS2, giving users access to a variety of features or special settings that can improve the overall experience of the game. However, new players need to enable the console for it to appear by pressing the "~" key.
These are the steps you need to follow to enable the in-game command console:
- Go to "Settings"
- Select "Game Settings"
- Look for the option that says "Enable Developer Console" and select "Yes"
Once you've done that, you can start testing out all the commands available for now. Some of them are pretty much the same as they were in CSGO but some work differently or have a different purpose.
