FURIA Esports have qualified for Rainbow Six Siege's Esports World Cup semi-finals after defeating Spacestation Gaming. The series included games on Border, Oregon, and Chalet, with the latter reaching maximum overtime.
Although the Brazilians seemed to have full control of the series after a convincing victory on Border, the astronauts sent the series to Chalet after an outstanding defensive half on Oregon.
Eventually, Spacestation Gaming pushed FURIA Esports to overtime and got to series point after winning the thirteenth round of the map. However, the Brazilians didn't fall under the pressure and turned the tables with back-to-back round wins.
With this result, FURIA Esports became the third Brazilian roster to reach the Esports World Cup semi-finals as they joined Team Liquid and w7m esports. Later today, a fourth team could be added to the list as the winner of the series between FaZe Clan and Team BDS will play against the Black Panthers.
It's worth mentioning that this will be the first semi-final appearance at an international competition for FURIA Esports in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege. It will also be the roster's first international semi-final appearance since the Six Invitational 2024.
