Knowing how to survive fire in Fortnite is one of the many things you'll have to go through in order to obtain the Doctor Doom skin.

While it's rarely seen, elemental damage is in the battle royale, with fire being the most common among all of them. Now, with the recent Doctor Doom quests available, you'll have to do your best Human Torch impression and get yourself scorched.

How to survive fire in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4

The good thing about fires in Fortnite is that they do not cause splash damage. This means that you only need to worry about the damage over time.

If you are at full health or close to it, surviving a fire is as easy as taking a bit of damage by standing near it and enduring a small amount of damage.

For the Doctor Doom quest, you need to take damage four times, so stay close to the fire for a couple of seconds to complete it.

Where to find fire in Fortnite

There are two easy methods of finding fire in Fortnite: going to gas stations or campfires.Luckily, neither spawns randomly in the Chapter 5 Season 4 map so it's easy to locate them each match. To make it easier for you, check out the map detailing the locations of all gas stations and campfires.

You can find a fire at these locations

If you're going to a gas station, you need to shoot the gasoline pump until it explodes, just be careful not to stand too close.
