Fortnite 33.11 will be coming next week, just in time for the holidays. Gamers everywhere are excited to check the battle royale since they will have more free time. Because this is going to be released in time for the holidays, fans can expect to see content new and old added to the shooter.
Epic Games has given fans plenty to enjoy with previous updates, including the return of OG Mode. Although the next season won’t be coming anytime soon, players still have a lot to look forward to.
So, here’s everything we know about Fortnite 33.11 thus far.
Winterfest 2024
According to popular leaker Shiina, next week will be the official start of Winterfest 2024. This means fans can expect plenty of holiday-themed skins and weapons to appear. Older holiday cosmetics might also make their return, so fans might want to start grinding for these juicy rewards.
Like most leaks, fans should take the news with a grain of salt. Granted, Shiina has a pretty good track record but things can change at the last minute. Still, it wouldn’t be surprising at all if Winterfest 2024 does start next week, especially since the holidays are about to start.
Cyberpunk 2077 collaboration?
The long-rumored Cyberpunk 2077 collaboration could start with next week’s Fortnite 33.11 update. Some files have reportedly surfaced, though not enough to fully confirm if the event is happening. Considering how this would coincide with Winterfest 2024, this could easily be delayed.
Disney and Pixar’s Cars
We previously reported on a Cars collaboration and it looks like that might be coming in Fortnite 33.11. Nothing official has been made, but there’s a very good chance that these characters will be made available in the next update. It will be interesting to see if they become playable or are just vehicles that can be used.
Old bundles and cosmetics
Because nostalgia is still a huge selling point, Fortnite 33.11 will reportedly have plenty of old rewards for players to earn. Previous DC superhero cosmetics have popped up in the game and more of them are expected to be added in this update. This is in addition to older holiday skins that are making a return to the game.
Players being able to repurchase older cosmetics is always a good thing, given how expensive they become. This is a very good move if this prevents scalpers from taking advantage of player’s wallets.
