According to a tweet from his Twitter account, Reece "ASTRO" Lambert is cancer-free.

He still has one last cycle, he says, then he will be completely finished.

On Jan. 13, 2022, ASTRO tweeted that he has lymphoma, a kind of cancer that begins in the cells of the body's lymph system. At the time, he was taking a step back from competitive Siege.

On April 10, ASTRO announced that he would be returning to Siege with Viperio 86, which will be competing in the inaugural season of the recently-minted Northern Premier League, a combination of UKIN and the Nordic Championship.

In the past, ASTRO has been a standout player for GAMMA Gaming and Epsilon Esports. Now, he gets another shot at Siege stardom. He was an EUCL player in 2020 and 2021, in addition to taking home the Benelux Cup twice, as well as winning Benelux Cup Season 9.

The Northern Premier League features EUL teams NAVI, Heroic, and MNM Gaming's new academy roster, alongside strong competitors like TENSTAR.
