Fnatic sign Kantoraketti and Sarks, Tyrant out and Jigsaw benched

Fnatic has made some deep changes to the team's Siege lineup.

Kantoraketti at Six Berlin Major

Fnatic have signed Juhani "Kantoraketti" Toivonen and Leo "Sarks" Sarchi to compete in the Europe League 2024 Stage 2. The signings have been made to replace Luke "Tyrant" Casey and Jack "Jigsaw" Gilles. While the British has officially left the team, Jigsaw has been benched.

Fnatic have been competing in Europe since March 2024. The decision was made official four months after parting ways with the organization's former Japanese roster.

Unfortunately for Fnatic, the team's debut in Europe hasn't been fruitful, AS they missed out on the BLAST R6 Major Manchester after a sixth-place finish in the Europe League 2024 Stage 1 and a 1-2 defeat against The Forgotten Days, a roster that included four former top-flight players.

In July, the team's defeat against Into the Breach in Europe's Esports World Cup closed qualifier saw the team missing out on the tournament based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Following the team's performances throughout the year, the organization made two changes to the roster.

The Finn is joining his former Rogue and KOI teammates Tom "Deapek" Pieksma, Leon "LeonGids" Giddens, and Tristan "Saethus" Savage with whom he won the Six Berlin Major in August 2022. Meanwhile, the Italian will make his top-flight debut after reaching the R6 Central Combine 2024 grand final with Project X.

Fnatic's first official match with the team's new lineup will be against G2 Esports as Kantoraketti will play against the home that saw him lifting the Six Invitational 2019. The game will be played on September 2 at 20:20 CEST.
