Following the conclusion of the VCT 2025 EMEA Kickoff Final, which ended in a Team Vitality victory over Team Liquid, Riot streamed the Valorant Masters Bangkok draw.

Each region, including Americas, Europe, Pacific, and China, will send two teams to Bangkok, Thailand, to crown the first Valorant Masters of the season. Here's how the first matches of the Swiss Stage look like:

Keep on reading to know a bit more about the initial four matches:

G2 Esports vs. Trace Esports

The VCT 2025 Americas Kickoff champions will make their debut in the Valorant Masters Bangkok against Trace Esports.

The Chinese's run to qualify for the Valorant Masters Bangkok began with two 2-0 victories against Dragon Ranger Gaming and the Valorant Champions 2024 winners EDward Gaming. Eventually, after winning the Upper Bracket Final with a 2-1 win against Bilibili Gaming, Trace Esports lost the grand final after falling against the Lower Bracket winners EDward Gaming.

On paper, G2 Esports is the favorite side to take the win after the team's unbeaten run in the VCT 2025 Americas Kickoff, including victories against Cloud9, Leviatán, and Sentinels twice. Additionally, since joining the American scene, G2 Esports only game against a Chinese side ended in victory as they defeated EDward Gaming in the Valorant Champions 2024 group stage.

EDward Gaming vs. Team Liquid

EDward Gaming and Team Liquid will clash in the first round of the Valorant Masters Bangkok Swiss Stage in a match where the current world champions will test a very inexperienced Team Liquid.

After an exhausting Lower Bracket run, the Europeans brought the Blue Cavalry to the organization's first international top-flight event in over a year. In just ten days, the team will have to show their progress against the Chinese side of EDward Gaming.

Team Vitality vs. T1

If both Team Vitality and T1 have something in common is that both squads are seen as super rosters in their respective regions.

While Team Vitality earned its title after the signings of Felipe "Less" Basso and Nikita "Derke" Sirmitev, the South Koreans did so after adding Kim "Meteor" Tae-o and Yu "BuZz" Byung-chul.

It's fair to say both teams have met the initial expectations set on them, as the Bees won the VCT 2025 EMEA Kickoff and T1 finished in second place at the VCT 2025 Pacific Kickoff after a narrow 2-3 defeat against the South Korean powerhouse DRX.

In less than two weeks, we will have the chance to see both rosters clashing in Bangkok, Thailand.

DRX vs. Sentinels

DRX's decision to trust South Korea's Tier 2 paid off after the team won the VCT 2025 Pacific Kickoff after a 3-2 victory against T1's super roster. Now, it's the team's chance to show they can also become champions at an international level, and their first test will be Sentinels.

The American roster will head to Bangkok with only one goal in mind: becoming three-time Valorant Masters champions, after doing so for the first time in last year's Valorant Masters Madrid.
