Destiny 2 has a few surprises for fans amid a very turbulent period for Bungie due to layoffs and the delay of the final expansion in the Light and Darkness Saga, The Final Shape, including an upcoming collaboration with fellow Sci-Fi franchise Mass Effect.

Destiny 2 has had some interesting crossovers with gaming franchises such as Assassin's Creed, The Witcher 3, and with the acquisition of Bungie from Sony, God of War, Horizon, and Ghost of Tsushima.

Still, fans have been clamouring for a more topical set of cosmetics, making the Mass Effect collaboration that much more interesting. The crossover with BioWare's franchise will include armour for all three classes (Hunter, Titan, and Warlock) as well as an assortment of other cosmetics such as Ghost Shells, Sparrows, and Ships.

Titans will get armour inspired by Commander Shepard and his iconic N7 Systems Alliance gear, Hunters will have a Garrus-inspired outfit, meanwhile, Warlocks will be able to don Liara T'Soni Asari's uniform. On top of that, the Enhanced Defense Ghost Shell, Alliance Scout Frigate Ship, and Alliance Drop Ship Sparrow items will also be up for grabs.

The cosmetics are set to hit the Destiny 2 in-game store on February 13. Prices for all armour sets are yet to be revealed, however, Bungie confirmed that the Ghost Shell, Sparrow, and Ship will be free for all players.

We'll have more information regarding the cost of the Destiny 2 x Mass Effect armour sets as well as how to redeem the free cosmetics so stick around Siege to stay up to date.
