Bungie is revealing more content about Episode: Heresy, including the Lodestar exotic trace rifle. Here's how you can get your hands on this unique weapon in Destiny 2.
During the Episode: Heresy livestream, Bungie revealed many new weapons players will be able to grind for in Destiny 2, including the Barrow-Dyad SMG, and of course, the Lodestar trace rifle.
Let's break down everything you need to know about the Lodestar trace rifle, including perks, how to get it, and its Catalyst.
How to get Lodestar in Destiny 2
The Lodestar trace rifle will be the battle pass exotic weapon available for players to jump into Episode: Heresy Act I. For those who purchase the premium battle pass, Lodestar will be unlocked immediately.
Don't worry if you're planning on sticking with the free track of rewards, Lodestar will still be available to get. It will be available at roughly level 30 of the season pass going by previous seasons.
Lodestar perks in Destiny 2
Lodestar is a very unique trace rifle, as it uses primary ammo. This means you'll never run out of ammo. These are the stats and perks available:

- Damage type: Arc
- RPM: 1000
- Magazine: 75
As for the perks:
- Arc Alignment: Dealing any Arc damage from any sources aligns the battery's coils. When alignment is complete, press reload to disengage the safety and enable hip-fired Starlight Beam to apply Jolt to any targets damaged for a short time. Aim down sights to slow the rate at which the battery drains
- Starlight Beam: This weapons fires a low-intensity Arc beam with enhanced stability and accuracy
Lodestar Catalyst and how to get
The Lodestar Catalyst will be available via the Episode: Heresy season pass. Sadly, at this time, we don't have a lot of information about what it does.
