Warzone Mobile launched not long ago and since the game is connected to the mainline titles, Season 3 is also set to start soon. This means that players won't have to wait long for a batch of new content.
We have gathered all the details about the upcoming additions to the mobile title in case you're planning to play it later.
Release date
Season 3 for Warzone Mobile is set to begin on Wednesday, April 3 at 9:00 am PT (5:00 pm BST). Barring any delays or extensions, the season will remain available for around 8 weeks before moving on to the next one.
Weapons
Four new guns are arriving this season as part of the connected content between all games. Here is the full list along with their unlock method:
- FJX Horus (Submachine Gun): Available at launch, unlockable through the battle pass.
- MORS (Sniper Rifle): Available in-season, unlockable through the battle pass.
- Gladiator (Melee): Available at launch, unlockable through the battle pass.
- BAL-27 (Assault Rifle): Available at mid-season.
The only difference with the main titles is that the MORS sniper rifle and its blueprints won't be available at launch in the mobile title.
New map: Rust
The map Rust will be added to the multiplayer portion of Warzone Mobile. This is an adaptation of the remastered version available in Modern Warfare (2019) instead of the one we have in Modern Warfare 3 (2023).
Players will be able to enjoy any of the 6v6 modes in this map, which fans should know by now since it has been a staple in the franchise since its original launch in Modern Warfare 2 (2009).
New modes
Two new modes will be added throughout the season, with one of them being the classic Plunder from the first Warzone. In case you don't know it, teams race against each other to be the first one to earn $2 million in in-game cash.
Respawn is enabled and it can only be played in Verdansk. The mode will be available at the start of the season.
The second mode is called Buy Back Battle Royale and is also exclusive to Verdansk. The only difference from the basic battle royale mode is that the Gulag is closed and players only have one respawn. If you're not playing solo, your team can only buy you back once.
Buy Back Battle Royale will be available at some point during the first part of the season through a special playlist.
Operators
The season is bringing four new operators and a new skin for one that was available before. Here is the full list:
- Vladimir Makarov: Available at launch, unlockable through the battle pass.
- Snoop Dogg (II Skin): Available at launch, unlockable through the battle pass.
- Banshee: Available at launch, unlockable through the battle pass.
- Hush: Available at launch, unlockable through the battle pass.
- Stasis (Blackcell operator): Available at launch, unlockable through the battle pass.
Other details
Here are some brief details of other additions coming to the game with this new season:
- Every week, there's gonna be an event where a variety of exceptional cosmetics can be unlocked. These cosmetics are exclusive to the mobile title.
- UAV Towers will be introduced in Rebirth Island at launch.
- Eight new aftermarket parts will launch throughout the season.
- Season 3 prestige levels will also be available in the game.
