Chiefs have returned to Rainbow Six Siege’s competitive scene after signing the organization-less roster of Ludavica. The team recently won Oceania’s off-season tournament REKT OCEANIC RIVALS after only losing one map out of thirteen played.

Chiefs first joined Rainbow Six Siege’s competitive scene in April 2021 when the team acquired Elevate’s roster. The Australians quickly became one of APAC’s top rosters as the team’s Oceanic Nationals 2021 championship was followed by a qualification for the Six Sweden Major after defeating Elevate in the APAC South 2021 Stage 3 Playoffs. In Sweden, they defeated Oxygen Esports twice and pushed Rogue to maximum overtime once.

The Australians’ last international appearance was at the Six Berlin Major, where they went winless after six regulation defeats. Three months later, the organization decided to leave Rainbow Six Siege’s competitive scene. Now, two years after the team’s decision of exiting Rainbow Six Siege’s top-flight, the Chiefs are back.

The roster includes the former Team Bliss player Anastasios “Odah” Hatzis, who parted ways with the Australian roster on August 30. Additionally, Chiefs’ squad also includes the former Fnatic players of Tex “Tex” Thompson and Jack “Jicksaw” Gilles. However, the latter has been signed as the team’s substitute.

Chiefs' debut in the Oceania League 2024 Stage 2 will come on September 9. Unfortunately, the league's calendar for the second split of the season has yet to be released.
