The six best teams in the region will meet in São Paulo, Brazil, in December.

The six best teams of the BLAST R6 South America League 2025 will meet in the first week of December to crown a new regional champion.

Last season, the eventual Six Invitational 2025 winners FaZe Clan technically became regional champions after beating FURIA at the BR Premier Finals 2024. One year later, Brazil's most in-form rosters will fight not only to write a new chapter in South America's competitive history but also to earn a share of the tournament's prize pool and qualify for the Six Invitational 2026.

Without further ado, here's everything you need to know about the BLAST R6 South America Regional Finals 2025:

Location and venue

The BLAST R6 South America League Regional Finals 2025 will take place in São Paulo's Parque do Ibirapuera. While the exact venue hasn't been revealed it's worth mentioning that Ginásio do Ibirapuera, which hosted the Six Invitational 2024, is logically located there. We will update this information as soon as Ubisoft Brazil reveal more information about the competition's venue.

Format

The BLAST R6 South America League Regional Finals 2025 will consist of a double-elimination bracket. The four top seeds have been placed in the Upper Bracket Semifinals while seeds five and six will start their runs from the Lower Bracket.

As the bracket only includes six teams, the defeated teams in the Upper Bracket Semifinals will be divided into "worst" and "best" losers. The "worst" loser will drop to the Lower Bracket Round 2 while the "best" loser will drop to the Lower Bracket Round 3.

All of the matches in the BLAST R6 South America League Regional Finals 2025 will be BO3 series.

Dates

The BLAST R6 South America League Regional Finals 2025 are expected to be played between December 4 and December 7. More information about dates and times should be released in the upcoming days, so we encourage you to stay tuned.

Prize pool and Six Invitational 2026 race

The BLAST R6 South America League Regional Finals 2025 will include a prize pool of €100,000. In addition, the winner will automatically clinch a spot to compete at the Six Invitational 2026. The remaining teams, except for the sixth team, will be given SI Points instead.

Here's a complete breakdown of how the prize pool and SI Points will be divided across the competitors:

  • 1st: 40,000€ and Six Invitational 2026 spot
  • 2nd: 20,000€ and 700 SI Points
  • 3rd: 15,000€ and 400 SI Points
  • 4th: 13,000€ and 100 SI Points
  • 5th: 7,000€ and 50 SI Points
  • 6th: 5,000€

The Regional Finals is the last chance for teams to gather SI Points. By the end of the Regional Finals, teams that finish outside the Global Standings Top 11 will have to compete in their respective Last Chance Qualifier to clinch a spot to be in Paris, France, in February.

Teams

Here's a look at the teams that will take part in the BLAST R6 South America Regional Finals 2025, including w7m esports, Ninjas in Pyjamas, FURIA, FaZe Clan, Team Liquid, and LOUD.

w7m esports

w7m esports

The Bulls claimed the top seed at South America's Regional Finals after gathering 40 points across both stages, two more points than Ninjas in Pyjamas and three more points than the two last Six Invitational champions, FURIA and FaZe Clan.

The players' consistency in South America's group phases allowed w7m esports to finish at the top of the standings. However, the BLAST R6 Major Montreal champions haven't been as convincing in the playoffs, especially in Stage 1. In Stage 2, the Brazilians kicked off their playoff run with a 0-2 defeat against FURIA, but completed a great Lower Bracket run after taking down Team Liquid, Ninjas in Pyjamas, and FaZe Clan, just before falling against the Black Panthers in the grand final.

Ninjas in Pyjamas

Ninjas in Pyjamas EWC 2025

Ninjas in Pyjamas have been South America's dark horse this season as the shinobi roster managed to climb up back to the top. Surprisingly enough, after missing out on every international competition played in Year 9, the ninjas managed to qualify for both the Siege X Esports World Cup 2025 and the BLAST R6 Major Munich.

Similarly to w7m esports, despite Ninjas in Pyjamas' strong form in BO1 series, the Brazilians have suffered a lot in BO3 matches. In Stage 1, the players qualified for Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, after a thrilling comeback against Team Liquid. Meanwhile, the Brazilians qualified for Munich, Germany, after three overtime wins against LOS.

FURIA

FURIA Reload

FURIA has been an extremely consistent side this season as the team's RE:L0:AD championship has been followed by back-to-back South America League 2025 wins. Alongside Weibo Gaming, the Black Panthers are the only team to have 650 SI Points before the start of the BLAST R6 Major Munich, which tells how dominant they have been.

Moreover, FURIA finished among the best three sides in the Siege X Esports World Cup 2025, only behind Team Secret and G2 Esports.

FaZe Clan

FaZe Clan EWC 2025

The Six Invitational 2025 and BR Premier Finals 2024 champions are one of the favorites to win South America's Regional Finals despite some underwhelming performances in the past few months. The Brazilians couldn't make it out of the Siege X Esports World Cup 2025 group stage and finished in third place in Stage 2 after defeats against FURIA and w7m esports. It will be interesting to see what their form is in Munich.

Team Liquid

Team Liquid nesk

Team Liquid's season has had controversy, unexpected roster moves, and underwhelming results. So far, the Blue Cavalry have missed out on every single international championship played, after back-to-back fifth-place finishes. With only 100 SI Points the team's chances of qualifying for the Six Invitational 2026 are pretty low − but they are not zero. The Regional Finals will be one of the team's final two shots at achieving a Six Invitational 2026 qualification.

LOUD

LOUD Reload

LOUD had a splendid start to Rainbow Six Siege X as they finished among the best eight teams in RE:L0:AD and only lost against eventual Siege X Esports World Cup 2025 champions Team Secret and eventual RE:L0:AD winners FURIA.

Unfortunately for LOUD, the players haven't been able to keep up with the high expectations set by the Brazilian giant. The team missed out on the Stage 1 and the Stage 2 playoffs after back-to-back seventh-place finishes.

Although their possibilities to qualify for the Six Invitational 2026 through the Global Standings are quite low after their underwhelming group phase performances, the Brazilians were in a similar situation last year − and still managed to finish among the best six sides at the Six Invitational 2025.
