Now that Black Ops 6's release is a few days away, Activision has revealed the release times and preload information.
The release will be different from recent years since the game won't have an early access period. To help you prepare for the launch, we have gathered all the details in one place so you can start programming your reminders.
Release times
Black Ops 6 release time will vary depending on the platform and region you play on. Here are the details for each platform:
Console (PlayStation and Xbox)
The game will be available for console players on October 25 at midnight local time.
In other words, it should be available to play when the clock hits 12:00 am in your region. However, sometimes this is ignored and some regions get access to the title before that time.
PC (Microsoft Store, Battle.net, and Steam)
This year's PC launch won't be simultaneous since players who buy the game through the Microsoft Store will get access at the same time as console players, including Xbox Game Pass members.
Users from Battle.net and Steam will get access on October 24 at 9:00 pm PT (October 25 at 5:00 am BST). The following graphic shows the release time for these two platforms across the different regions:
When can I preload the game?
Anyone who pre-ordered a digital copy of Black Ops 6 can start preloading the game on October 21 at 9:00 am PT (5:00 pm BST). You will probably still have to download extra files once the game goes online, but it should be a small update.
