Black Ops 6 is finally here and for those who don't own a console or a high-end PC, there is a way to run the game on any mobile device. This is the first time players can run one of the main Call of Duty titles on a portable device.
We have prepared a simple guide explaining what you need to do to play Treyarch's newest game on any device available.
How to play Black Ops 6 on mobile
To enjoy Black Ops 6 from a mobile device, you only need three things: an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, a stable internet connection, and a controller.
The new title is available on the Xbox Game Pass catalog, but players with an Ultimate tier subscription can also play using Cloud Gaming. In other words, users can stream the game using any mobile device and a controller.
Here are the steps you need to follow for the two major operating systems:
Android
Once you have a subscription, the only thing you'll have to do is to either download the Xbox Game Pass app or visit xbox.com/play using any browser. The app is available on both Google Play and Samsung Galaxy stores.
From there, sign up using the Xbox account with an active Ultimate subscription, search for BlackOps 6, and start playing.
iOS
Since the Xbox Game Pass app is not on Apple's App Store, the only way to enjoy the title from an iOS device is by visiting xbox.com/play. The site will show you a list of games available with Cloud Gaming, and you'll only have to look for Black Ops 6 and run it.
You will have to wait a little bit before being able to play, especially if many people are trying to get in. After loading up the game, you will be able to enjoy any game mode.
Your connection must be stable at all times, otherwise, you'll start seeing the game at a low quality or your input will have a significant delay.
