G2 Esports' newest signing Benjamin "Benjamaster2k" Dereli now has the most kills at a Six Invitational with 290 kills so far. The previous record was 289, held by Team Liquid's André "Nesk" Oliveira, set at the Six Invitational 2021.
Benjamaster played 28 maps at the point where he broke the record -- the same number of maps it took Nesk to get his 289 kills. The young Dane will now play at least two more maps, where he will likely extend his new record further.
The record is made more impressive by the fact that Benjamaster only joined G2 a mere 31 days before today's Six Invitational 2023 grand-final, but has immediately adjusted. With him on the team, G2 have pulled off an incredible lower bracket run so far, beating five different teams to make it to the grand-final.
His teammate Jack "Doki" Robertson is also in the race for most kills at one Six Invitational, but the final total for both will only be determined after the end of the ongoing BO5 series against w7m esports.
