Callouts are one of the most important parts of Rainbow Six Siege. The ability to efficiently communicate accurate information to your teammates is often just as useful as being able to shoot your gun well.
With any new map comes new callouts. Here are some of the most common ones you'll hear, based on what Ubisoft calls them, and what the community uses for other maps.
What is a callout in Rainbow Six Siege?
A callout can tell you the location of an enemy or a push. Clear communication is essential to being able to push effectively, and often times wins teams rounds they otherwise would not win. Here are some general callouts.
What is the "Harry Potter" callout in Emerald Plains Rainbow Six Siege?
The Harry Potter callout refers to any spot underneath stairs, where Harry Potter initially lived.
What is the "connector" callout in Emerald Plains?
Typically, the "connector" callout is reserved for a small room that connects two crucial rooms. The community typically defines the connector callout. Currently, there is no "connector" callout on Emerald Plains as defined by the community.
What is the "cat" callout in Emerald Plains?
"Cat" refers to a catwalk, which is a narrow walkway or an open bridge, typically next to a drop-down. On Emerald Plains, there is an exterior catwalk, not an interior one. If you hear "cat", the enemy is outside the building.
What is the "breach" callout in Emerald Plains?
"Breach" refers to a reinforced wall that has been hard breached by the attacking side. The "breach" can be next to any reinforced wall, you'll know from the sound.
