Just a few days before the release of Season 1 reloaded for Black Ops 6 and Warzone, Activision the fourth episode of the Call of Duty Podcast. The episode features several announcements about upcoming content, including a teaser about a collaboration happening in the new year.
The surprise came at the very end when a teaser for an upcoming Call of Duty x Squid Games was shown. The video only shows an operator picking up a piece of paper with the show's symbols and then transitioning to a Call of Duty logo in the style of the show's logo.
It is unclear what type of content we will see thanks to this collaboration but the trailer confirmed it's coming out in January 2025. We can expect this event to start once Season 2 for Black Ops 6 and Warzone begins.
According to the in-game countdown, the new season will begin on Tuesday, January 28. However, new Call of Duty seasons usually start on Wednesdays, except for Black Ops 6's Season 1 which started on a Thursday, so this date could change.
We will have to wait until one or two weeks before the release of Season 2 to know more information about this collaboration, but players can expect skins based on the show, new game modes, and that sort of content.
