Ex-1UP Reach GoFundMe Goal, Will Play As 'Charity Nerds' At DreamHack Valencia

The German pro team formerly known as 1UP will be attending DreamHack Valencia after reaching their donation goal, and will go under the Charity Nerds name.

The GoFundMe, which was created by the German team on June 14th, has been fufilled just 4 days later. With the inital promise of putting the name of every >€50 donator on the jerseys they will wear while competing, the team has also decided to play under the name of Charity Nerds, an organization dedicated to better the lives of hospitalized children by connecting them with video games and consoles, after their mammoth €1100 donation.

The team will still remain orgless, and are still looking for representation for upcoming Season 8 of the Pro League, with this seeming to be a temporary "thank you" to them for helping reach their goal. The team is now set to attend Dreamhack Valencia next month and will be hoping to make their fans proud.

If you'd like to help out a good cause, and make the world just that much better, then do pop by their website and maybe drop a donation.

The roster remains the same and is as follows
