Ubisoft is looking to reward players for helping to improve Rainbow Six Siege.
It's no secret that the Rainbow Six Siege community is passionate about the game and its competitive integrity. Players want the game to be the best it can be and often attempt to help developers find and fix issues.
Now, Ubisoft is looking to reward these actions going forward. In Year 7, the R6Fix Incentives program will reward these continued efforts to improve the game. It's a way for developers to say thank you!
How does the R6Fix Incentives program work?
The R6Fix program basically has players "contribute" to various issues by reproducing them or investigating them further. Within a certain timeframe, players will have the opportunity to vote for the importance of open issues and share information on them to help developers fix them faster.
Contributing will bring rewards. There are four tiers of incentives, leveled by severity:
- Cosmetic: 3x 1 rare, 1 epic, 1 legendary
- Playable: 6x 2 rare, 2 epic, 2 legendary
- Hardly playable: 9x 3 rare, 3 epic, 3 legendary
- Critical: 12x 4 rare, 4 epic, 4 legendary
