UPDATE: Rob "Flynn" Flynn, Mirage team principal, has denied that Mirage has tried out Razorr. This article has been updated to reflect the new information.
According to multiple sources with knowledge of their situation, XSET is in verbal agreement to sign Zachary “SpiriTz” Dionne. Rafael “Rafinha” Ferreira was first with the story.
Earlier reports from Rafinha have linked Matheus "Budega" Figueiredo to the team’s open head coach slot and Arthur "GMZ" Oliveira and Lucas "DiasLucasBr" Dias to two of their player spots. Earlier reports also indicated that XSET has re-obtained a license to compete in the NAL’s 2022 season. Via sources, SiegeGG can confirm the entirety of this report.
A source indicated that Dillon “Razorr” Presley could remain with the roster, but has taken a tryout with Mirage. Rob "Flynn" Flynn, ?Mirage team principal, denied that Mirage has officially tried out Razorr.
This leaves only one, possibly two open player spots for XSET as they enter the next NAL season.
None of these moves are set in stone until the transfer window opens following the conclusion of the Six Invitational 2022. SpiriTz was recently made a free agent by Parabellum, and is free from transfer window restrictions on direct consultations between players and teams.
The NAL will return sometime in March after the transfer window closes. XSET finished the third stage of the season in last place, and were sent to the relegation match at the NAL Finals event. There, they were beaten by Parabellum, who claimed their license with the win. However, a desire to move the league to ten teams as opposed to keeping it at nine teams spurred the decision to allow XSET to re-apply. They were selected for the position.
