Two matches into the Six Invitational 2022 group stage, Luccas "Paluh" Molina has broken a new R6 milestone as across all notable tournaments he has now secured 1,000 more kills than deaths. He achieved this feat during Liquid’s group stage matchup against Spacestation Gaming, with a kill on Dylan “Bosco” Bosco during round eight of their bout on Oregon.

With this being a differential count, it is possible that he can still drop back below the milestone, however, he is to date the first person to cross this threshold. Currently just behind Paluh sits his own teammate, André "nesk" Oliveira at +920 (3758 kills to 2838 deaths) while Team BDS’ Stéphane "Shaiiko" Lebleu sits in third at +750 (2660 kills to 1927 deaths) at the time of writing.

This kicks off what Team Liquid is hoping to finally be their turn to hoist the hammer after almost four years since their last tier-one title. With Brazil currently on a hot streak of tournament wins and Liquid having won the recent BR6 2021 title, this unmatched fragging power from Paluh and nesk may finally be rewarded at this highest tier of the game.

Team Liquid will next be in action against CYCLOPS tomorrow as the Six Invitational group stage continues.
