Rainbow Six Extraction is out and players are already talking about the cosmetics. These surely are important for users in Siege, but how much importance these will have in Extraction?
We expect the same. While skins don't give you any advantage nor improve your aim, it feels better to play when you have your favorite cosmetic equipped.
Cosmetics played a part in Siege matches, where opponents are real human beings who might struggle if you use a brownish or greyish cosmetic to blend in the map. In Extraction, teams have the chance to wear more colorful and extravagant skins since aliens won't react differently.
However, we would love to see some of them in Siege. We will have a look a some of the best gun skins we have seen in Extraction so far.
Noxious Touch
This is a free skin that you can use from the start of the game. With futuristic looks, this skin starts with intense green and seamlessly ends in a dark color. It's bold and powerful yet understated.
Coming in Hot
This is Extraction's Black Ice — but instead of ice, it's lava. The contrast between white and the orange and red flames makes this skin hard to ignore. This is a legendary skin that can only be obtained by buying it for 540 REACT Credits.
Scarred
The colors used for the Scarred skin are similar to the ones in Coming in Hot. But this weapon stands out thanks to the striking yellow marks slashed across the side. This is also a free skin, which can be unlocked by completing the "Spotless" study in Alaska.
Velour Bomber
This purplish skin is combined with golden and blue details that make it a cool option to use in Extraction. This weapon is a bit more upbeat than the usual Rainbow Six skins, featuring some bold patterns that add a lot of personality to your overall look.
Was Scepter
Inspired by ancient Egypt, the Was Scepter is a skin that really looks good on any gun in the game. The was-sceptre was a symbol used in the ancient Egypt religion which meant power or dominion.
These are some of our favorite Extraction gun skins, but there's no accounting for taste! Explore the Extraction shop, have a look at the skins, and decide for yourself. You might find your new favorite skin there!
