There are many reasons to watch your last match. That's why there's a thing called match replays in Rainbow Six Siege.
The feature was added in Year 6 as part of the Operation Crimson Heist update, allowing players to watch previous games to either learn from their mistakes or share some incredible gameplay.
What is Rainbow Six Siege match replay?
Match replay allows you to save your last 12 games, making it easier to watch your gameplay or record a clip.
Replays get wiped after every patch so record games to your PC if you wish to keep them for longer.
How to use Rainbow Six Siege match replay
Want to check it out for yourself? It's luckily pretty easy to use match replay. All you have to do is launch Rainbow Six, click on the tab that says "Watch," and then click on the game you want to view.
Once the match is playing, you can navigate around, controlling what you view. You can select certain rounds, speeds, and even which players to watch (including enemies). You can zoom in and out, pausing when needed.
How to share your match replays in Rainbow Six Siege
While using match replay is pretty straightforward, sharing the matches is a bit harder. There is unfortunately no built-in recording feature.
Looking to send a match to your friend? Send the files by going to the folder Siege is downloaded in and clicking "MatchReplay."
If you want to share a small clip, however, you will need a third-party software. The most popular choice is OBS. You can use this to record the replay.
