The first-person shooter (FPS) genre contains plenty of titles ranging from ultra-realistic experiences to more casual offerings. With so many to choose from, some are already on the hunt for the FragPunk release date.
Developed by Bad Guitar Studios, the 5v5 shooter includes a wealth of heroes, known as Lancers, to master along with unique Shard cards that alter everything ranging from match length to bullets dealing more damage.

FragPunk release date estimate
The FragPunk release date hasn't been revealed yet. The game had a closed alpha test that ran between June 27th to July 1st where players could load into the action for the first time.
FragPunk platforms
So far, Bad Guitar Studios has revealed FragPunk will launch on PC and Xbox Series consoles. There's no sign of the game launching on PlayStation yet but if the developer announces a launch on Sony's platform we'll update the guide with the latest intel.

An extended trailer for FragPunk appeared during the Xbox Showcase. The trailer showcases some of the Lancers on offer in addition to how Shard Cards turn the tide of a match. Check out the trailer below.
FragPunk Lancers list
Below is a list of the ten Lancers that were available during the closed alpha. We'll keep the list updated when more are revealed:
- Broker
- Nitro
- Hollowpoint
- Kismet
- Axon
- Corona
- Jaguar
- Pathojen
- Zephyr
- Serket
Each Lancer possesses three abilities to suit different styles of play. For example, Serket possesses abilities that aim to stop enemies from progressing across the map along with the option to teleport to a specified location.
FragPunk Shard cards explained
Shard Cards are game-changing abilities available to all players and are split into the following categories: Weapon, Lancer, and Rule. Lancer cards affect Lancers, Weapon cards only affect weaponry, and Rule cards affect the map and game modes.
With so many Shard Cards to choose from, there's a high chance of every FragPunk match being different from the last creating huge variety along the way.
