VALORANT's Champions 2025 is already underway as the first matches kicked off on September 12. Although the competition has been live for a couple of days, we have already had a couple of upsets.

There's no action today as the next round of the competition will be played tomorrow, including Group A and Group C's winner matches: GIANTX vs. Paper Rex and DRX vs. NRG.
Here's what has happened so far in each group and the schedule for the upcoming games:
Group A
Group A of Champions 2025 includes Paper Rex, Sentinels, GIANTX, and XLG Esports. As expected, Paper Rex began the group's action with a one-sided 2-0 victory agains the Chinese side. However, the upset came shortly after when GIANTX took down Sentinels.

Group B
Group A of Champions 2025 includes Bilibili Gaming, Fnatic, MIBR, and Rex Regum Qeon. While it's hard to anticipate the possible outcome of Group B, the Valorant Masters Toronto grand finalists Fnatic are the favorites to take the group's first seed.
The first day of action in Group B saw MIBR and Fnatic getting one-sided victories over Bilibili Gaming and Rex Regum Qeon, respectively.

Group C of Champions 2025 includes EDward Gaming, Team Liquid, NRG, and DRX. Surprisingly enough, the group favorites Team Liquid and EDward Gaming lost their games against DRX and NRG, respectively. This means that either the Champions 2024 champion or the VCT 2025 EMEA Stage 2 champion will be knocked out after back-to-back series defeats.
At the same time, either NRG or DRX will surprisingly reach the VALORANT Champions 2025 Playoffs, something not many had on their books — or, better said, Pick'Ems.

Group D
Group D of Champions 2025 includes G2 Esports, Team Heretics, T1, and Dragon Ranger Gaming. This is likely this year's group of death as it includes two international champions in Team Heretics and T1, as well as G2 Esports, who reached the Valorant Masters Bangkok grand final — which they lost against the South Koreans.
The first game of Group D saw Team Heretics beating the VCT 2025 Americas champions G2 Esports after back-to-back 13-10 wins on Corrode and Lotus. The first day of action in Group D ended with a narrow T1 victory over DRG after two consecutive overtime wins on Lotus and Sunset.

Valorant Champions 2025 Playoffs
The Valorant Champions 2025 Playoffs will be played between September 25 to October 5. The Bracket Stage will be played between September 25 to September 29, while the Finals will be played between October 3 and October 5.
