The Esports World Cup Foundation has revealed the opening of the application process to join the EWCF Club Partner Program 2025.
This year's EWCF Club Partner Program will welcome ten more organizations than the edition launched in 2024, increasing the tally from 30 to 40 teams.
While eight teams from last year's Club Championship will be invited, the remaining 32 spots will be given to teams picked from the application process.
According to today's Esports World Cup announcement, the EWCF Club Partner Program 2025 will invest a total of $20M into the esports ecosystem. Teams that are part of the EWCF Club Partner Program 2025 will be given "a six-figure base funding to grow their organization in 2025 and activate their brand, players and fans during Esports World Cup 2025."
Despite being part of the EWCF Club Partner Program 2025, teams will still have to qualify for it through "traditional methods" as "participation in the program does not guarantee a spot at the Esports World Cup 2025."
Teams who want to join the EWCF Club Partner Program 2025 will have to go through an application phase, which opens today, December 10, and closes on January 10. According to the Esports World Cup official statement:
The application takes about an hour to complete and asks for key information about Club entities and legal structure, their active games, fan engagement on different social platforms as well as vision for interacting with EWC25. The application form provided will include all necessary details and information that clubs need to submit.
Following the application phase, the EWCF will "evaluate all applications received to determine successful Clubs." Finally, the chosen teams will be notified.
If you're a Rainbow Six Siege fan, following the Esports World Cup 2025 is definitely worth it as Ubisoft's title has already been confirmed to be part of next year's edition.
