Although creators had a chance to play a new map coming to Warzone, called Haven's Hollow, during the COD Next 2025 event, Treyarch and Raven Software revealed an unexpected announcement that will probably make fans of the Black Ops 4 battle royale counterpart very happy.
A new "experience" inspired by the original Blackout is scheduled to release in Spring 2026, and this will take place on the upcoming new map, Avalon. For those who don't remember or don't know, Blackout is Treyarch's first attempt at the battle royale genre, released in 2018 as a replacement for the missing campaign in Black Ops 4.
It is unclear whether the Avalon map will be released at the same time as the Blackout-inspired experience, meaning we will have to wait for more information.
You can see this listed, as well as other upcoming additions, in the roadmap below that was posted during the event:

As you can see, Avalon will be the new large-scale map that will arrive during the upcoming Black Ops 7 year. Haven's Hollow will arrive with Season 1, but this is a small-scale Resurgence map.
The existence of Avalon has been reported since before the launch of Black Ops 6, as it was supposed to be coming out for that game. However, plans changed, and Activision decided to release Verdansk instead, and the map was left on the back burner until now.
On top of the brand-new Blackout experience, Ranked Play is scheduled to arrive in Season 2 of Black Ops 7, and both Verdansk and Rebirth Island will receive new areas or POIs.
Black Ops 7 is scheduled to release on Friday, November 14th, for current-gen consoles (PS5 and Xbox Series X|S), last-gen consoles (Xbox One and PS4), and PC through Steam, Battle.net, or the Xbox Store. You can check out this article to read about the game's general information.
