The first open beta weekend of Battlefield 6 was extremely successful, as over 5 million players joined across PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, and now the developers are up for round two. EA and DICE will be bringing back players into the battlefield with even more content to explore before the game launches on October 10.
Battlefield 6 open beta weekend 2 kicks off on Thursday, August 14, at 1 AM PT/4 AM ET/9 AM BST and will run until the same time on Monday, August 17. This time, there won't be any early access period, so everyone and all supported platforms will start playing the game together.
What's new in Battlefield 6 beta weekend 2?
Open beta weekend 2 of Battlefield 6 is expected to feature all content from the first beta, including maps like Siege of Cairo, Liberation Peak, and the Iberian Offensive, along with the new features.
The biggest highlight of this open beta will be the Empire State map, i.e., an infantry-only battleground set in Brooklyn's streets. Rush and Squad Deathmatch will further join the rotation with Conquest, Breakthrough, Domination, and King of the Hill.
A closed weapon playlist will also be available for Conquest and Breakthrough, offering a tactical edge by restricting weapon classes.
