With Battlefield 6 launching soon, EA and DICE have revealed the first details about Season 1. The title will follow the traditional format of post-launch content, dividing its major updates into seasons.
With the roadmap and the first details of Season 1 now available, we have prepared a helpful summary with all the important information revealed so far to get a better idea of what's coming.
When does Battlefield 6 Season 1 come out?
Season 1 of Battlefield 6 is scheduled to come out on Tuesday, October 28, across all platforms. The season is expected to last a little over two months, ending sometime at the end of December/start of January 2026.
Season 1 Roadmap
As revealed on the roadmap, not all the content will drop at the start of the season. Instead, the season will be divided into three phases, each one offering a series of significant additions to the game.
In case you haven't seen it, here is the roadmap for Season 1, which illustrates what we just explained:

First phase: Rogue Ops
Rogue Ops, Season 1's first phase of content, will kick off at the start of the season, and this is everything that brings:

- New map: Blackwell Fields
- Support for all combat sizes, land and air vehicles
- New mode: Strikepoint (4v4 mode)
- Strikepoint is an intense, small team tactical mode where a squad fights another squad across multiple rounds to capture a key objective. There is only one life each round, so make it count.
- New land vehicle: APC Traverser Mark 2
- New weapons
- SOR-300c (Carbine Rifle)
- Mini Fix (Sniper Rifle)
- GGH-22 (Sidearm)
- New attachments: Rail Cover and LPVO (Low Powered Variable Optic )
Second phase: California Resistance
The second phase, California Resistance, will launch on Tuesday, November 18, and this is everything coming with it:

- New map: Eastwood
- Support for all combat sizes, land vehicles, and helicopters.
- New mode: Sabotage (6v6 mode)
- Destroy as many sites as possible before the round time finishes. Use your creativity and your arsenal to do so. Each team has one round each to go on offense and defense; the team who successfully detonates the most sites wins.
- Battle Pickups
- Unlike weapons that appear in a loadout, Battle Pickups are high-tech, powerful weaponry that are limited in ammo and availability throughout a given map.
- New weapons
- DB-12 (Shotgun)
- M327 Trait (Sidearm)
- New attachment: Slim handstop
Phase three: Winter Offensive
The third phase, Winter Offensive, will begin on Tuesday, December 9, and here is all the new content:

- New map update: Ice Lock Empire State
- A visual update to the Empire State map, covering most of it with snow.
- New event: Ice Lock
- New weapons
- Ice Climbing Axe (Melee)
Once we have more information about the content coming in all three phases of Season 1, we will update this article to add all the missing details.
